These terms (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the marketing website at pretensor.ai (the “Site”). By using the Site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
1. The OSS product is separate
These Terms govern the Site only. The Pretensor open-source CLI and library are distributed under the MIT license and your use of the OSS is governed by that license, not by these Terms. Hosted Pretensor, when it becomes available, will have its own separate service agreement.
2. Use of the Site
You may browse, link to, and quote from the Site for personal, professional, and educational purposes. You agree not to:
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Site or its infrastructure without prior written permission.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site, the underlying servers, the waitlist database, or any related system.
- Submit waitlist entries on behalf of someone who has not asked you to, or submit obviously fake email addresses at scale.
- Use automated agents to scrape the Site at a rate that materially burdens it, or to bypass any rate limits we apply.
- Reproduce the visual design or marketing copy of the Site as your own.
3. The waitlist
Joining the waitlist registers your interest in hosted Pretensor. It is not a contract, and it does not guarantee access, pricing, timing, or any specific feature set. We may take longer than expected to launch hosted Pretensor, scope it differently than described on the Site, or decide not to launch it at all. If we do, we will notify confirmed waitlist members and stop processing their email for that purpose.
You can ask us to remove your email from the waitlist at any time by writing to hello@pretensor.ai.
4. Intellectual property
The Site’s design, copy, illustrations, and brand assets (including the Pretensor name and logo) are owned by Pretensor or its licensors. Nothing in these Terms transfers any of that to you. The OSS code that the Site references remains under its MIT license at the upstream repository.
Code samples shown on the Site (for example, the pretensor CLI
snippets and the example MCP request/response payloads) are illustrative and
may be reused freely.
5. Third-party links
The Site links to third-party services and properties (GitHub, X, PyPI, Postgres, Snowflake, BigQuery, MCP clients, and others). We do not control those properties and are not responsible for their content, terms, or availability.
6. No warranty
The Site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
Information on the Site (including roadmap statements, performance figures, and forward-looking descriptions of hosted Pretensor) is for informational purposes only and may change without notice. Do not rely on it for any purchasing, contracting, or compliance decision.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pretensor and its contributors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunity, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Site, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Where liability cannot be excluded by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Site is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you have paid us for access to the Site (which today is zero) and (b) one hundred euros (€100).
8. Indemnity
You will indemnify and hold Pretensor harmless from any claim or liability arising out of your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Site (including any of the prohibited activities listed in Section 2).
9. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “effective” date at the top of this page reflects the current version. Continued use of the Site after we publish a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the place where Pretensor is established, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, the courts of that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer-protection rules entitle you to bring proceedings in your country of residence.
